AALA Membership
Membership of AALA is open to senior legal practice management professionals working within Auckland law firms. This includes individuals who:
- hold senior operational or management roles within a firm
- are responsible for key business functions such as finance, HR, IT, compliance, risk or business operations
- are actively involved in the internal management of a legal practice
Membership is held at a firm level and can be transferred if the member leaves the organisation.

Who Can Join
AALA is intended for:
- Practice Managers
- General Managers
- Legal Operations Managers
- Senior administrators with significant operational responsibility
Membership is designed to ensure a strong peer group of professionals with shared experience and comparable roles.
Who Is Not Eligible
To maintain the integrity of the network, membership is not open to:
- consultants or external advisors
- recruiters
- software providers or vendors
- individuals selling services to law firms
AALA is a peer-to-peer network, not a business development platform.
